On the Balcony at the Hotel in Boone!

Ana posed for this picture on our hotel balcony this evening. We just got back from having an Italian supper of calzone and coke at a local cafe. It was a beautiful day and a lovely evening in Boone, North Carolina!

Now, how sad is that??!! Zero comments! Let me change that.

My bride of 33 years, Kathy, and I met Michael and Ana for breakfast on Friday morning in Boone. And this chance meeting in a crowded elevator just made our day! We shared a prayer and a meal and a nice long conversation, and discovered a pair of long lost friends. Just that fast!

We were on a 10-day road trip from Washington DC into the western Smoky Mountains, and were about to end the trip with a 3-day stay in Lexington. And we really hoped to have one of the hotel clerks snap a photo of us all together. But we soon had departed and missed the opportunity!

So, here's your "Howdy!", folks. Good to have met ya, and we wish you all of God's blessings and a world of good days ahead. Thanks for the conversation. Made our day!

The pleasure was all ours! We really enjoyed our time together at breakfast. It truly was a time blessed by the Lord, and we'll always think back with very fond memories. We remember you in our prayers, as we hope you will do the same for us. And who knows? we may see you again in Boone! :-)
