There is Just Something About Autumn...

There is just something about Autumn that I truly love -- the cooler temperatures, of course. But I think I like the colors! Orange, browns, yellows... And the air smells crisp and clean:) Our cat, Aaron, seems to agree with me -- He is enjoying the Autumn air wafting through the screen. Poor fellow. I know he would rather be outside in a pumpkin patch somewhere chasing mice and such. But for now he'll have to resort to dreaming and being content with the life he was destined to live.

My Portuguese Cook..

I came home from work about 6pm tonight. As I entered the door I was met with the most wonderful aroma! I stepped over to the kitchen and saw the cutest cook all decked out in her cooking apron. Ana Maria was sautéing chicken in garlic and olive oil, along with potatoes and onions! How delicious! The apron is from Greece, a gift to Ana from our friend, Sherry. There is a Greek word on the front I dont understand. But this I know: The cook is all Portuguese!:)
