Visited my brother and his wife...

Ana and I visited with my brother and his wife at their weekend river home a of couple weeks ago. We went out for lunch to a nice Mexican restaurant, and then he rode us around the park in their new golf cart:-) It was alot of fun. Here is my brother, Warren, and his wife, Marcia (and of course, Ana :-)). We're out on the pier over the White Oak River. What a lovely day.

We really like The Old Siam Thai Restaurant..

We go to The Old Siam Thai restaurant once every week or so - usually on Sundays after church. We were in a picture taking mood:-) The chef makes such a nice artistic presentation! and we enjoy the friendliness of the wait staff. Of course, the food is always exquisite! I've come to really enjoy Thai ice tea - it has a touch of clove in it - delicious! And doesn't Ana Maria look sweet next to the gold leaf statue?

July 4th Celebration!

In an effort to update our blog alittle bit further.. here are a few pictures from our celebration of the 4th of July! The top pic is actually the 3rd of July - our work attire for the day - pretty appropriate, huh :-) On the 4th we went to Mom and Dad's for the afternoon and had a great time enjoying hamburgers, hotdogs, some great desserts, and of course some family singing! The bottom picture is of the neighborhood fireworks - not to worry, we had a City Fire Marshal standing by :-)

Event of the Year!

It has been quite awhile since I updated this blog. So many things have happened! But the event of this year was my daughter's wedding! Natalie and Judson married on June 23 at a little chapel in Topsail Beach, NC called "Emma Marshall Memorial Chapel." It was a beautiful wedding, to say the least! and Natalie made such a beautiful bride. After the wedding we enjoyed a wonderful reception nearby, and we all celebrated until after midnight!
